This film is a masterpiece. Every thing of A History of Violence is outstanding. A performance that has no weak moments. A History of Violence is without doubt the best Thriller movie, a new standard. That tension created by characters draws the audience in from the start. I am a huge fan of David Cronenberg and this movie was his finest work last time. It is proof of that - a movie to be very good need spectacular special effects - just made of great acting. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Is A History of Violence the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. A History of Violence is a living masterpiece. This movie is an art, at it's very best form.
Storyline of A History of Violence
When a pair of petty criminals attempt to rob his small-town diner, Tom Stall (Viggo Mortensen) quickly and easily kills them both, which sets off repercussions that will shake his family to its very core.
