This movie is amazing, really good plot & great acting. It would be hard to find a movie made this good. Il Solengo is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. Il Solengo has a reputation of one of the best films of all time. The movie with best storyline ever, best directing and really good chosen cast. The acting is just incredible (especially Ercole Colnago, I'm sure no one expected that). I loved Il Solengo from the first sight. This is a very memorable movie in every way. Really I can't stop thinking about Il Solengo.

The documentary follows a group of elders as they gather in a hunting lodge and recalls the life of Mario “ de’ Marcella”, who was called by hunters "Il Solengo" because that's how they call the lone boar that is cut off from the rest of the pack.
