This film is a masterpiece. Every thing of People's Republic of Desire is outstanding. A performance that has no weak moments. The film gave me goosebumps. When I watched People's Republic of Desire online for the first time, I really surprised myself. I am a huge fan of Hao Wu and this movie was his finest work last time. The acting is really gorgeous, bringed to life characters that are rich in details and complex. Rly, this is the first film I saw that made me feel I saw something better than just a movie. Is People's Republic of Desire the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. It is one of the few movies of the past years that really deserve to be seen multiple times.
