One of the most original movies directed by Lori Petty is The Poker House. A performance that has no weak moments. It is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. It tells important lesson about how you should live your life to it's fullness. I am a huge fan of Lori Petty and this movie was his finest work last time. The Poker House is one of those films where no sigle character gives a weak play. I loved The Poker House from the first sight. Is The Poker House the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. Really I can't stop thinking about The Poker House.

The film follows Agnes and her two sisters as they struggle through a day in a home where her mother is strung out on drugs, her home has been overrun by degenerates, and her only father figure is a pimp.
