The Surface is one of the most popular movies from Gil Cates Jr.. I have never seen such an amazing movie since I saw The Surface the first time. The Surface stands out above all other movies I've seen in my life. You do not need to like Drama films to enjoy time spent on watching this film. Director once again delivered us great piece of art. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Chris Mulkey. The Surface will be forever living movie. No matter how many years passed and no matter how many times you saw it. The Surface will live with the next generations of men, I'm certain of that. This movie is an art, at it's very best form.
