This film is a masterpiece. Every thing of The Village of No Return is outstanding. A performance that has no weak moments. I still remember the first time I saw The Village of No Return. I saw it in 2017 in cinema. The Village of No Return has a reputation of one of the best films of all time. I am a huge fan of Yu-Hsun Chen and this movie was his finest work last time. The acting is just incredible (especially Qi Shu, I'm sure no one expected that). Rly, this is the first film I saw that made me feel I saw something better than just a movie. Is The Village of No Return the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. It is one of the few movies of the past years that really deserve to be seen multiple times.
