One of the best TV Shows directed by Michael Hirst is Vikings - Season 1. Even if the viewer does not like Action type of TV Shows, he/she will watch the whole TV Show and enjoy it. It is a simple TV show series, but it has an everlasting message. I watched this TV Show 5 times and I enjoyed it the same every time. I'am the biggest fan of this director and Vikings - Season 1 for me is his best production. Skills of actors are just unbelievable, no actor give a weak performance. I loved this TV show series from the first sight. There really isn't too much else to say.
